¿Quién es?
Heather Frith (su nombre auténtico) nació el 6 de julio de 1967 en Bermuda. Pasó la mayoría de su infancia viviendo con sus padres, un hermano y una hermana en un pequeño barco construido por su padre. Vivieron en el barco entre las islas Caribe y muchas veces. Desde pequeña su música era su llamada, escuchaba discos grabados por su madre y a los 8 compuso sus primeras canciones. A los 14 aprendió a tocar la guitarra y el violín y era fan de Neil Young y Jimmy Cliff.
Volvieron a Estados Unidos y a los 18 se incorporó a la escuela "Rhode Island School of Performing Arts" con la idea de mejorar en artes visuales pero también iba a clases de poesía y seguía componiendo canciones, fue durante este periodo cuando se dió cuenta que quería dedicarse a la música.
Después de graduarse en 1989 volvió a Londrés en busca de su primer contrato discográfica. Fue descubierta por " Abbo of Big Cat Records" y grabó su primer EP, siguió dando conciertos hasta que en 1993 publicó su primer disco "Glowstars" que obtuvo una gran acogida en los medios y permitió a Heather realizar conciertos fuera del Reino Unido. Desde entonces todos sus discos han tenido gran éxito de crítica y comercial y ha realizado varias giras.
En Agosto de 2005 se publica su último disco: "Redbird".
